Praise God for continued progress on the remodeling of the Ishinomaki New Life Center in the tsunami-hit area of the city. Please pray that the final work can be completed before the dedication on March 29 as many will gather, including pastors and believers from the national churches and mission churches, volunteer workers, partnering groups, and CAMA leader, Phil Skellie. God has provided a Christian Japanese contractor who is overseeing the finishing work. We are also very grateful for the volunteer work of the Samaritan’s Purse carpenters who did the basic remodeling.
Please pray for God’s wisdom in working with other believers as we all partner in evangelizing this unreached area.
As the March 11 one-year anniversary of the Tohoku triple disaster approaches, please pray for a crusade March 2, 3, and 4 with the Billy Graham Crusade in Sendai and memorial services on March 11 in Sendai and Ishinomaki. Pray that many seekers will attend and believe in Jesus.
Please pray for those who accepted the Lord at a neighborhood concert and for a couple who accepted the Lord after coming in contact with Christian volunteers who ministered to them.
Please pray for a man who wept during a time of prayer with us. He is coming to church and says he likes the God of the Bible. For 150 years his ancestors have been Buddhist. Pray that he will step out of darkness and believe in Jesus.
Please pray for Jane’s health.
