| | | “Youth in Japan struggle to make a commitment to Jesus Christ by taking the step of making their faith public through baptism. It was a wonderful joy when Manami stood before the church family Sept. 21, and was baptized. A teenager, Manami was in our Sunday School classes and now in our English Classes. She has the blessing of Christian parents. Her commitment to the Lord is strong and we would ask you to continue to pray for her as she grows spiritually.
Please pray for Manami’s friend, Natsuki, also a teenager, to accept the Lord. She is coming faithfully to Sunday School and church. As teens here face all the pressures of youth in the States, we covet your prayers for these young lives. Seiko, a young mother of 4 little girls, was also baptized on Sept. 21. We have asked you to pray for her before. She is in one of the young mothers’ classes that Jane is teaching. Seiko is quick to testify for the Lord in class and encourages the other mothers to believe in Jesus. Please pray for her husband to also accept the Lord. by Harry & Jane Landaw |
