mom's time | news The “Mom’s Time” group is a target ministry specifically to young unsaved mothers. Each meeting is carefully planned and addresses challenges they are facing as young wives and moms. It is casual with a discussion time. Lessons include Scripture, but it is not specifically a verse-by-verse study. This group of 10 moms has grown largely through friends bringing friends. We journal, dialog and share a meal. At our Jan. 25 meeting, we talked about topics they would like to cover in 2007. Then, with her little baby in her arms, Yasue said, “Well, could you teach us how to read the Bible?” Junko said, “Please teach us about how we should live according to the Bible in daily life.” THIS WAS A MEGA TURNING POINT! These ladies had been so leery of “Christianity” before. We covet your prayers as we now will build on the foundation that has been laid through much prayer. Please pray for Mizuka, a dedicated, strong believer, who usually hosts this meeting and the cell group meeting at her house.
