missions festival | news On February 11, all of the Alliance Churches in the greater Tokyo area, including our ethnic churches, came together to celebrate our first-ever World Missions Day. The Japan Alliance was the first national Alliance church outside of North America to send missionaries to another country. Since much of the history of Japan Alliance missions was centered in Latin America, the event featured Japanese missionaries to and from Brazil. We also looked to the future as we challenged our church people to be involved in World Wide Alliance missions through prayer, giving and sending more Japanese Christians throughout the world as missionaries. |
