Evangelism in Chiba prefecture | news  It is a joy to work together with Chiba Church in their many outreach ministries. For us, it was our 2nd time to be a part of the excellent summer camp. Nearly 30 participated. Daily Bible times, a testimony from Emiko, a seminarian doing her internship at Chiba Church, Pastor Yamanaka acting out “Jacob & Esau”, singing, crafts, prayer times, great meals, swimming in the Pacific, the night hike ~ each activity was what makes the camp a great ministry to kids. It’s a challenge to stand for Jesus in a Buddhist society. Please pray for each of these dear young kids to walk with Jesus. Mom's Group Jane speaks at a monthly outreach for moms, a ministry of Yachiyo Church. Most of the mothers are seekers. Please pray that this ministry would be a bridge for these young mothers to come to Jesus. We are studying the topic of “Building a Strong Foundation” with Jesus as the Cornerstone. Some of them have attended church activities in the last 2 months.
English outreach
 Chiba Church has taken advantage of the national school week going from 6 days to 5 days. Each Saturday there is a special morning activity for kids at church. Two of those Saturdays
include Kids’ English Conversation. We have a ton of fun playing games in English, learning new vocabulary and putting that vocabulary into sentences. God has used this as one step
in bringing parents to church activities, too. The next church outreach ministry is a B-B-Q Aug. 26th. Please pray for families in Japan to give their hearts to the Lord.
