youth ministry develops | news

We have several middle school and high school age kids in our church. We feel blessed! This is a hard group to keep in church here in Japan as there are clubs and different activities on Sundays that keep them away from church.

For quite some time, we have had a burden for our youth. We have been asking God to send someone to start a youth ministry. We are thankful for the Lemkes who will be leading this ministry at our church. Dale and Heidi came to Japan two years ago. They have just completed their formal language training and have moved into this area. Their main responsibility will be in another town, trying to make connections at a university, but we are thankful for their willingness to help us in this way.
