homeless | news  During the Christmas holiday, the youth group from Kawaguchi (Alliance) Church met at church to prepare food for the homeless. The young people put together 140 boxed lunches! After 2-3 hours of sleep, we were all up at 4:30 to get an early train down into the city. The kids passed out food and clothing in one corridor of the train station. After realizing that the police had already removed the homeless from another hallway, they headed out onto the streets and looked for homeless in parks, down street alleys, and under a major highway. What a blessing to see their enthusiasm and see them moved by the response of the homeless.
